- Where do I go for surf lessons in Daytona Beach?

- What should I bring to a surf lesson?
Bring sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, and water.
- Where do I meet for surf camp?
Students should meet in our surf school located at 52 W. Bovard Avenue in Ormond Beach, on the first day of camp. From the school they will walk to the beach where the surf camp is set-up in front of Granada/SR40 beach approach. Parents should pick up and drop off students on the beach each day after the first day.
- What should I bring to camp?
Bring a lunch, towel, sunscreen, and a drink.
- What time should I arrive?
Arrive 15 minutes before class to insure a parking spot, put on your rash-guard shirt and sign your waiver.
- Is there parking?
Yes, next to the surf school. Additional parking can be found next to the beach off Atlantic Avenue.
- Do I need to be a good swimmer?
If you can swim with your head above water you will be fine. Weak swimmers will be kept in shallow waters next to an instructor at all times.
- Are restrooms near by?
Surfari Surf School in Ormond Beach is equipped with public restrooms. There also public restrooms on the beach.
- Are stores and restaurants in the area?
There are many restaurants and stores very close to the surf shop. Some recommendations are LuLu’s Oceanside Grill, Larry’s Giant Subs, Genovese’s Italian, Jimmy Hula’s, & Peach Valley Cafe.
